Donate Yarn to Our Projects

We have had wonderful support from the community with yarn donations so far and are still accepting donations.

We accept new and  gently used full or partial clean skeins of yarn.

Many people have yarn tucked away from past projects, or a mother, grandmother, aunt who loved to knit or crochet but is no longer able.

The majority of our charitable items are made from yarn donated from people in the community.

Spread the Word

We need them by Aug 30, 2026.   Please use the contact buttons on this page to reach out to coordinate delivering blankets and/or yarn to us, or us picking them up .

  • Do items have to be crocheted?

No! We will accept all types of handmade items, crochet, knit, quilted…

  • Are you accepting new members to your crochet group?

Yes! We meet monthly and take on various projects in Virginia Beach to donate to charities and individuals.

Pattern Ideas

You can use any pattern you like, but patterns without holes is recommended so tiny fingers don't get tangled. We've learned a lot of stitches that would be perfect in our free crochet classes like Ribbed Stich, Berry Stitch, and Prarie Stitch.
